The heart of the hive

I’m Claire, founder of Buzzy Bee. Florist, floral designer and entrepreneur — and above all, deeply passionate about creation.

My journey is multifaceted, much like myself:
- 23 years of business management
- 10 years in the wedding and events industry in France
- A training program at the Catherine Muller Flower School in London where I honed my eye, my technique, and my passion for English floral design

Today, I bring this experience to your projects. I love creating distinctive, poetic and impactful worlds. What I enjoy most? Exploring new trends, listening to your ideas and seeing your eyes light up when everything comes together.

Based in Colomiers, near Toulouse, my studio has no shopfront. It’s a deliberate choice: here, we don’t sell standard bouquets — we create unique floral designs. Each composition is handcrafted to order, tailored to your vision, your atmosphere and your event.

You’ll find:
- Seasonal flowers, fresh or dried
- Sourced objects, raw materials and precision tools
- And above all, a calm atmosphere conducive to creativity

Here, every detail is designed to allow creative freedom, with care and passion.
This space is not a shop, but a private studio.

Claire did the most incredible job with my wedding flowers – she completely exceeded my expectations. I’m not an easy person to impress, and I was a little nervous about booking a florist in another country without having seen much of their previous work. Claire did our flowers for our wedding day – I could not have been happier with everything. Our bouquets were gorgeous, we had a few flower arrangements which were movable so used throughout our wedding weekend – and looked perfect throughout despite a lot of moving! We also had bud vases and the quality of the roses were absolutely amazing – and the vases used were beautiful. Claire was so easy to talk to, and to organise arrangements with – she helped make the entire thing seamless and I’d recommend her to anyone as a florist! Thank you so much for helping make our wedding the perfect day!

Buzzy Bee provided all of the flowers for our wedding, from bouquets, cake toppers, coursages and button holes to running table decorations and large decorative urns for the ceremony. I have never seen such beautiful arrangements and the colours and varieties of flowers that Claire put together for us were perfect.
From beginning to end, working with Buzzy Bee was a delight, which was particularly reassuring as I was concerned that they are based in France and I am not!
We had an initial call to discuss the general vision, and I was happy to be guided entirely by Claire to fulfil this using her expert knowledge of flowers. She was very flexible and responsive on emails, and was happy to schedule calls whenever. I am so glad I put my trust in her to bring our vision to life, and I couldn’t recommend Buzzy Bee more highly!
