2. What we collect, why, and for how long

We only collect the data you send us and the data strictly necessary to run the website and measure its audience. Your data is never used for profiling or automated decision-making.

2.1 Enquiries and quote requests

Data: first name, last name, email address, phone number, type of enquiry, date and location of the event where provided, message.

Purpose: answering your enquiry, preparing a proposal and following up on our exchanges.

Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Storage period: 3 years from our last exchange if no booking follows; where a booking is made, contractual and accounting records are kept for the statutory periods.

2.2 Downloading the wedding guide

Data: first name, last name, email address, phone number and any details you add to the form.

Purpose: sending you the requested guide and answering any related enquiry.

Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the form.

Storage period: 3 years from our last exchange.

2.3 Audience measurement

The website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic. This is only activated after you consent through the consent banner, and relies on cookies (_ga, kept for 2 years, and _ga_*, kept for 1 year).

Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

2.4 Running the website and storing your choices

Technical cookies keep the website working (WordPress, language preference through pll_language) and record your consent choices (cmplz_* cookies, kept for 365 days). Being strictly necessary, they do not require your consent.

3. Recipients and processors

Your data is never sold or rented. It is accessible to Claire Devaney and, strictly within their technical services, to the following providers:

• Scaleway SAS (France): website and database hosting;
• our email provider: delivery and storage of the emails we exchange;
• Google Ireland Limited: audience measurement, only if you have consented. This service may involve a transfer of data to the United States, covered by the European Commission standard contractual clauses and the EU US Data Privacy Framework.

4. Security

The website is served over HTTPS and access to your data is limited to the people who need it to handle your enquiry. We apply reasonable measures against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:

• right to erasure;
• right to restriction of processing;
• right to object;
• right to data portability;
